Instructions 1. Check all containers for leakage or breakage.
2. Remove the frozen cells from the dry ice packaging and immediately transfer them to liquid nitrogen (liquid or vapor phase) for long-term cryopreservation.
3. A portion of non-viable cells are present immediately post-thaw; these can be removed via low-speed centrifugation in subsequent cultivation steps.

Background Granta-519 was established from the peripheral blood taken in 1991 at relapse of a high-grade B-NHL (leukemic transformation of mantle cell lymphoma, stage IV) diagnosed in a 58-year-old woman with previous history of cervical carcinoma.
