Custom DMEM in High-Glucose Cell Model
In this Frontiers in Endocrinology study, HK-2 cells were cultured using Procell custom DMEM with defined glucose concentrations (5.5 mM and 30 mM). The customized high-glucose DMEM enabled precise modeling of glucose-induced apoptosis and cellular senescence under controlled osmotic conditions.
