Background HuT 102 cells are a T-cell lymphoma cell line that exhibit characteristics of a mature T-cell line, displaying IL-2 activity on the cell surface and forming E-rosettes. They are negative for surface immunoglobulin, Epstein-Barr virus nuclear antigen (EBNA), and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT). Additionally, HuT 102 cells release a single type C retrovirus associated with T-cell lymphoma, namely HTLV-I.
Receptor Expression interleukin 2 (IL-2)
Gene Expression HTLV-I (human T cell leukemia virus)
Biosafety Level BSL-2
