| Background | Karpas-299 is a human T-cell lymphoma cell line established in 1986 from peripheral blood collected from a 25-year-old male patient diagnosed with T-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The cell line is now pathologically classified as CD30-positive anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) and harbors the characteristic NPM-ALK fusion oncogene. |
