Background This REC-1 cell line was derived from lymph node or peripheral blood tissue of a 61-year-old male patient with end-stage refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL, diffuse large cell type, which progressed to transformed mantle cell lymphoma, blastoid variant).
