Reference materials
| Background | SU-DHL-2 is a histiocytic cell line that was isolated in 1974 from the lymph node of a White 73-year-old female with large cell lymphoma. The cells are non-specific esterase and acid phosphatase positive. The cells are negative for Epstein-Barr virus nuclear antigen (EBNA-). The cells are surface Ig negative (sIG-). The cells are reported to be E - rosette negative. ATCC confirmed this cell line is positive for the presence of Epstein-Barr viral DNA sequences via PCR. |
| Biosafety Level | BSL-1 |
