Subculturing Procedure Cultures can be maintained by either supplementing with fresh medium or exchanging medium via centrifugation. The recommended centrifugation conditions are 1200 rpm (approximately 250 × g) for 3 minutes.

Background THP-1 cells are phagocytic toward latex beads and sensitized erythrocytes and lack surface and cytoplasmic immunoglobulins. THP-1 cells can be induced to undergo monocytic differentiation by phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (TPA/PMA). The THP-1-GFP cell line was constructed from THP-1 cells by lentiviral transduction and is a stable cell line capable of long-term, high-level GFP expression. This cell line exhibits low passage, high viability, and good condition, making it suitable for assays such as flow cytometry and fluorescence imaging. Selection drug concentration: Puro = 11.0 μg/mL.
